Hackathons
Hack iX 2025
I participated in my first ever Hackathon this September 2025. During the hackathon, we were challenged to use creative technologies to re-imagine how we approach different aspects of patient recovery post-orthopedic surgery. It was amazing to get to see my education in interactive technology used in a different lens. I worked on our UI/UX and brand package from Crecendo: a website that helps physical therapists connect with their patients during time between sessions.
Our plan was to design a real-time exercise tracking computer vision that tracks each rep the person does and maps the data to a 3D mannequin.
Another one of our core goals was accessible recovery, providing high value tracking and feedback to patients who can't afford premium devices.

Here is our technical stack. We used TensorFlow in tandem with MoveNet to capture visuals from our laptop's camera and then detect what pose the patient is currently in.
The joint position data then goes to Python where the data is parsed and able to be used in unreal where the data is then displayed on a 3D mannequin.

Here is our UI navigation. The user logs in, confirms their user data and checks their current milestones. They do a quick pre-workout survey to monitor their current pain and motivation then start their workout.
Game Jams
Global Game Jam 2025
The 2025 Global Game Jam theme was "Mask".
Help Gil, with his trusty swordfish mask by his side, obtain the golden Mahi Mahi for his recipe.
This game won "Best Art" at the SCAD Savannah Game Jam site.
TEAM & SCOPE
Engine: Unreal Engine
DAW: Audacity
Team Size: 18
Timeline: 48 hours
Project Type: For the 2025 Global Game Jam competition.
Role and Responsibilities: I served as the producer and sound designer for the project.
I was the producer for the project, as well as the sound designer.
I wanted to really challenge myself so I did not use any unedited sourced sounds online. Most of the audio was mixed from at least 2 different base sounds. I was also responsible for all of the implementation of the sounds. This game ended up winning "Best Art" at SCAD Savannah Game Jam site. It was one of the four awards given out against a pool of over 36 games.
Global Game Jam 2024
The 2024 Global Game Jam theme was "Bubbles", so myself any my team came up with the game GERMINATOR.
Germs have wrought destruction upon mankind, will their tyranny ever cease? If you're good at the game it will! Play as GERMINATOR! A specially developed new form of home defense against the wretched beings of bacteria. Germinator takes on the front lines in the name of our health and safety. No germs are safe.
TEAM & SCOPE
Engine: Unreal Engine
DAW: Audacity
Team Size: 12
Timeline: 48 hours
Project Type: For the 2024 Global Game Jam competition.
Role and Responsibilities: I served as the producer, sound designer, and systems and implementation for the project.
I was the producer for the project, as well as the gameplay designer, systems designer, and sound designer.
I love game jams because they are a great way to rapidly level up your skills. I had very little experience with systems design and had barely touched the unreal blueprint.
With this project I learned sound implementation, animation blueprinting, basic enemy AI, UI implementation, projectile shooting, VFX implementation, as well as how to manage a team of 12 designers.
Global Game Jam 2023
The 2023 Global Game Jam theme was "Make Us Laugh".
I participated in this game jam as a Freshman. I had never made a game before and had not taken a single game design class. But I love to challenge myself and I love to make games so I dove into the deep end and started asking around to find a team.
I ended up meeting an amazing group of Sophomores who were also very new to game design, and together we made a game using twine.
TEAM & SCOPE
Engine: Unreal Engine
DAW: Audacity
Team Size: 7
Timeline: 48 hours
Project Type: For the 2024 Global Game Jam competition.
Role and Responsibilities: I served as the sound designer and put together the trailer. This is the project that made me interested in audio for games. I had never used a DAW or a game engine before this project!
I did all the sound design, edited the trailer, some programming implementation, and production.
It was very intimidating to enter a space with no experience and no connections, and this is far from the best game I've ever made, but I really value the lessons I learned about working as a team and my ability to push myself to try something new.
